Change

I had to change the blog.....again. I get bored with it too easily, so I have to change it frequently. What do ya think? If it's hard to read or anything, please leave me a comment and let me know. Woot for a new blog look!

Thanks to Ashley for this awesome layout!

The Park & Something Extra

We took Jude to the park for the first time last weekend and here are some pics I got of the Jude man!

And a video of my boy. This reminds me of those screen savers with the dogs licking the screen...

Retreats are fun

Last Saturday we had our small group retreat out in the country (yes, there is a country in Jonesboro...Jonesboro is not the country believe it or not) at the Wests' house. It was a ton of fun. We hung out, sang, worshipped, ate tons of yummy food, made a bonfire, and even made smores! Here are some pictures from the night...

A tribute to Mr. Mash

Leo aka Peanut aka Mr. Mash left us on October 2, 2008 to go, not to doggie heaven, but to his new home in Missouri. He was our first foster puppy that we fostered for BoxAR Rescue, the BEST boxer rescue ever. We got him back toward the end of June and he was only a few months old. He was so tiny!
He liked to cuddle up with Fiona, even though back then Fiona wasn't much of a cuddle dog (she is now though). I think he might have thought she was his mama. :)
Not long after he got here, he and Fiona were best friends.

And then Chett came along and they all became buds...eventually :)
There was nothing these three liked more than playing together. I know what you're thinking. How can that little puppy play with those big dogs? He'd have you fooled! He could definitely hold his own with those biguns.
But then there was also nap time. They were three peas in a pod. This was a Sunday afternoon. I guess since they didn't have any real pillows, they'd just use each other as their own. Note the toy that's laying close by. They did this a lot. They'd be playing hardcore and then all of the sudden lose their momentum and fall asleep right where they were playing. It was funny!

But, he was never ours to keep, so we had to let him go. Here is Mr. Mash the night before he left. He had grown so much! He was very much a goofy dog and he drove us crazy...what a mess he was! But, I miss him. I hope he is doing well in his new home. We love you Mr. Mash!
